Fuecoco is a bipedal crocodile-like Pokémon with a predominantly red body and a white belly and face. Its body contains a small pocket of flame, which constantly leaks fire energy due to its size. The energy is released in the form of two yellow tufts on top of its head. When Fuecoco gets excited, more tufts of flame can emerge.

Fuecoco has black eyes and triangular nostrils. His mouth has three teeth, one in the upper jaw and two in the lower jaw. He has stubby arms and large feet with two black toes on each foot.

Fuecoco has yellow square scales on its belly, back, tail and soles of its feet. These scales are warm to the touch, but can get heated. The scales absorb external heat, such as from warm rocks it lies on, to be converted into fire energy.

Fuecoco is relaxed and does everything at his own pace. He likes to eat and will rush to any food he sees.
