More info on Greninja:

Greninja moves with the speed and grace of a ninja. He uses quick movements to confuse his enemies while slicing them to pieces with weapons made of compressed water, usually in the form of throwing stars. These throwing stars are sharp enough to split metal. In the past, Water Shuriken and Mat Block were his signature moves.

Through a transformation called Bond Phenomenon, any Greninja with the Ability Battle Bond in Generation VII can transform into an alternate form called Ash-Greninja. In this form, the Greninja’s skin becomes lighter blue, while the face gets red stripes and the cheeks and side fins turn black and change shape to resemble Ash’s hair. Finally, its legs are stronger in this form, and it can form large Water Shurikens on its back.
